Thread: straw hat base xx

I made this polyvore set yesterday and have fallen in love with the idea of that hat! Does anyone know where I can get a base like that from? I'd want a small one, maybe about a 15cm diameter in total that I could put my own veiling and embellishment onto (as I've just come into a rather handy supply of netting to play with).

I've had a bit of a trawl online and not come up with much so far, not really sure where to look to be honest.

I would imagine you can also get instructions on how to make them out of plated straw, i dont think it is terrible dificult. Straw Braid Hat Project at The Costumer's Manifesto this one isn't great but you can get the general jist.
