Thanks for the kind words everybody. The bra is just the cheapest thing I could find at La Senza, and I cut everything off and just used the cups. Turns out it's quite difficult to sew through the underwirey bit, and I had a few glue-related nightmares, but it turned out alright in the end!
I'll be posted pictures of my new steampunk costume soon.
