Default Your help would be so welcome! help me make your perfect corset!

    Hi All!
Im just looking at adding some new lines to the website for summer- for those who dont know how we work everything we do is custom so you choose a style you like from the site and we make it in your sizes, fabrics and trims etc. However, Ive not added any new styles in ages- there are some new longer line corsets about to be put up once Ive sorted the photos but what would you like to see? more exotic twisty twirly bust lines or just more stage friendly fabrics? maybe more basic things like waspies or a lightweight corset for summer wear?
Id really appreciate your help on this lads and lasses- 5% discount voucher for the first 5 replies! XXX

yay for longlines!! I like the sound of the different style bustlines, always nice to have something different - though I am very much into my Victoriana at the moment

Ooh! thankyou Lasses! Its good to know that the longlines wont be falling on deaf ears- or unwilling ones! Cheers Amber! is there a certain style of bustline that you think works especially well or would appeal to the burly gals? Thanks for the tip on the CC41's BTW Agapanthus, I will pass that on to a friend who will hopefully be making girdles for the site soon! If the two of you would like to PM me your email addresses I will make a note that you are owed your vouchers! When you want to use them just email me at beth@desertorchidcorsets.co.uk with what youd like and I will sort your lower total!

oh! and agapanthus- when you say historical feel fabrics, do you mean the antique style brocades and nude tones or the more industrial style fabrics for the 40's?
    Youre lovely!

One word flossing, I think that it's so pretty but you just don't see it on modern corsets (even one in an antique style). I have no idea how practical it would be from a cost stand point, as I assume it would have to be done by hand but I would dearly love it on a corset.
    Salls x
p.s. I love your corsets and will definatly be ordering one in the near future (thank the gods for student loans)

I wondered what that was for! I'd seen it in some historical costume books I have but never knew, was just about to post about it here actually as I'm finishing up a corset

It looks gorgeous, as well as having such a practical use! x

i love the industrial type/austerity fabrics typical of the ww2 period but also really like heavy brocades of earlier periods along with the kind of prettycrisp white cottons and broderie anglaise...oh golly theres just toooooooo much to mention...i think the more traditonal the style and fabric the happier i am.xxx

I have been having problems with sizing of corsets and VoH dresses as I am an awkward larger shape, I have been researching getting a made to measure corset for several months so that I can buy my first proper corset. From all the sites I have seen, yours is the one I will probably buy from.

For my first corset I want something comfortable, easy to wear and versatile perhaps something that can be worn both under clothes and as outer wear. I would love a red and black or red and gold stripy brocade material.

One thing I have seen on another site is a shirt that can be worn under an underbust corset.

    Probably not very helpful.
