Thread: corset advise

hi gorgeous gals,
i'm looking for corsets and there's just absolutely no decent corset shops anywhere near where i live so i'm now looking online. i've hit on the corsets uk website and seen a load of lovely pieces at seemingly cheap prices - which makes me dubious! can anyone advise me on the reputation and quality of this company and advise me where else to shop without spending a fortune?

I met Candy L'Amour, who runs 'loveburlesque'.com the other week - I was really impressed by the quality, cut and price of a make she stocks which is called something like 'burleska'.

I just recently got a lovely corset from there.. very nice and fits well ( although I'm rather small up top and think infuture I'll go for waist clinchers instead ).

My only complaint was they took ages for delivery - when it was nearly 4 weeks in waiting and me getting desperate as I wanted it for MOB's visit to Bath last week I emailed them and received a replacement 2 days later.

Burleska

I know the lovely Lilly de Lure , and several others, swears by both Crikey Aphrodite and Desert Orchid Corsets, who are both on the MoB somewhere....

Thats mine she made me. They're all made to measure and you can choose material and trim off the site

Yes! I do custom corsets- this means theyre made to your measurements as well as your fabric and trim choices My underbusts start from about £90 and the overbusts at £115, but I also have some sale pieces going at the mo so its worth having a look through those!

I agree Burleska are terribly slow with deliveries at times, I have the same problem buying wholesale sometimes. They're lovely quality for the price though... check my prices are lower on a some items even without the sale
