    Heya!

    These are my eyebrows..

They are my everyday eyebrows, I use boots facial waxing strips to get rid of stray hairs and then kind of colour them in and excentuate them with a a Rimmel eyebrow crayon in dark brown.

I do have what I call party eyebrows as well they're just the same as these just a little longer

ive found regular waxing at a salon to be the best option, i used to pluck them but i ended up plucking them into oblivion ...most places like to just follow your natural shape but will generally shape them however you ask, i always tend to take a picture in with me when i first get them reshaped.xxx

I do my eyebrows myself at home. No waxing though!
    My routine is this:

-Bearing in mind that I remove the 'tail' of my brow entirely to achieve the arch I want. i.e. I shave the end off.

*Use an eyebrow brush to brush the hairs up towards my forehead and use nail scissors to trim the ends.

*Brush brows horizontally and defne into the shape I want.

*Using a mixture of dark and light brown powders (I use Urban Decay Brow Box) shade brows to desired shade.

*Using the powders, create arch in brow and tail the brow off using the line guidance of nose/outer corner/hairline to determine where the brow should end.

*Brush brows again to avoid looking like you've tattooed them on!

*Set with brow wax (similar to hair wax) and pluck any strays that fall outside the brow.

    And voila!

The biggest thing to remember when taming your eyebrows is that they are exactly the right shape for your face, and if you try forcing them into a certain style or shape it probably won't look right or natural!

Brush the brows up and trim the stray bits, brush down and do the same.

Pluck any stray hairs below the brow, and any obvious stray hairs above.

Put a pencil against one side of your nose (from mouth to between the eyebrows), where the eyebrow pokes out (above the bridge of the nose) pluck, and the same the other side. This gives you the start of the eyebrow.

Place the pencil from where the left nostril sits on the face, to the far corner of the left eye, pluck below. The same for the other eye. This gives you where the eyebrow should finish. If (like mine) your eyebrows don't go this low then you can pencil them in later.

Pluck slightly into the underside of the brow, but don't overdo it. The effect many try and acheive by overplucking can be acheived by use of makeup.

I use this http://www.eyeslipsface.com/eyes/eyebrows/eyebrow_lifter_&_filler Use the lifter and draw underneath the brow, use this opertunity to make a defined line. Then use the filler to echo this line in the brow. Use it gently at the begining of the brow, then darker towards the outside edge. You can emphasise the angle where your brow has a natural angle, make it sharper.

The above product is quite waxy, so just brush it through, and coax it into shape a bit more. If you use a non waxy pencil, or a powder then you may need to fix it with a wax.

After applying your eyeshadow use a stiff eye liner brush and make a white line below the brow, this will complete the framing, and make the eyes more distinctive.

I hope all that made sense!

loving Ophelia's brows!! thick without being too thick, great shape. i'd like mine to be that dark but it makes me look a bit odd if i pencil them in that much. Or perhaps i need to go gradually darker over time to get accustomed to it.

Start with a bit of powder, I had black hair when I first started playing with my eyebrows so just went straight for the black pencil nothing can be that dark haha.
I pluck the hairs on the tail end of my eyebrows almost away so that I can decide where they're going but keep some in that place so as to avoid the tattooed on look
    And thankyou!

I tried a dark brown and it was far too light for my eyebrows. I've recently realised (after 21 years!) that despite my dark hair I actually have rather pale skin. It makes this whole brow-pencilling thing very difficult!

I have mine threaded... it is much more painfull than waxing but you do get a really precise shape - she noramlly threads them, then plucks the stray hairs then snips the rest...

Then I use some black eyeshadow on a mac 208 angled brow brush to subtly make them slightly longer and darker than they actually are. I love that brush. You can use it for so many things.

I have the opposite problem! My eyebrows are very fine, and thin so I have to draw them in almost completely. I just use my eyeliner brush, and a dark brown powder to get the look I want. I always go overboard with pencil... can't ever make them look quite right x
