    I do an 8 minute act in knee high fetish boots called 'Puss in (Fetish) Boots'. Having trained in ballet I can say that they really aren't like performing in pointe shoes.
    A) They really hurt!! and B) The position in which they put your foot throws you totally out of alignment. It's difficult not to dance with bent knees, I've found that I really have to exaggerate my turnout for it to look good.
    But still, not many people do it and we all love a gimick! Have fun and watch your ankles honey.

    I have a pair of ballet boots, unfortunately I'm everything but gracefull after having them on for a while. But I would never part with them.
    The heel gives balance and your big toe gets under a lot of pressure.
    I guess it all about Practise
