Ah, looks like I'm set.

I have a nice topper and suit as it is and a lovely new brocade waistcoat on the way.
Might get a new cravat too..."If it shows up in the visible spectrum, I can photograph it."

It's going to be our second time going to a burlesque night tomorrow.. the 1st time my partner wore a suit.. this time he has bought me a proper corset so I can also dress up. We're both really looking forward to it

Love your style!
My boyfriend sometimes goes for a look similar to this. He has as many hats as i have shoes!

If I'm going for a particularly dapper look it will be dinner jacket or tails, bow tie and most definately a top hat.
At my most casual (but attending a burpesque event) it's still usually shirt, suit and waitscoat. Necktie, bow tie or cravat optional. Actual casual for me is combats and a heavy metal t-shirt, but I enjoy getting dressed to impress!
I'm comfortable with what I wear. If I wasn't I would wear something else instead! I think it's important to be comfortable when you're meant to be enjoying yourself but a burlesque event is the perfect excuse for a gentleman to experiment, to dabble in dapperness!
And they can always blame it on the missus! They might fool themselves, but we'll know they're loving it!
B.B.B. xx
