Hair and Makeup Lessons in Brighton
Hi, I'm really interested in learning how to do the vintage Hair and Makeup, I've attempted learning off youtube and various other websites, but does anyone know a practical class I can learn to do this in Brighton & Hove?
Thanks in advance!

Generally the only place that offers things like this are college courses, but they're a bit too broad. I'd recommend you keep at it with youtube and over time practice will make perfect. I'm a self-taught MUA and youtube has helped me out a lot over the years.
Ones to watch are:

pixi2woo

Even if they don't have pin-up makeup looks on their channels, they are the best I've found for online tutorials and you can apply what you learn from then to any makeup type. Pin-up makeup is actually pretty simple to do, it's beauty comes mainly from the clean, crispness of the application.

Always be honest with your clients, if you aren't they'll have false expectations of you and there's nothing worse for business than a client who's been sold some magic beans. Even more so when all they wanted was their picture taken.

Rosamund,
I'm actually going on a makeup course with my Laura, I'll have to ask her more about it.
I said I wanted to go but I gave it the typical guy thing of 'tell me when it is and I'll be there' thing so that's all I know about it apart from it's a six week evening course.
I'll ask her tonight.Chris Giles Photography | Blog | Facebook | Flickr

Hi Kitty
I'm setting up a professional photo shoot in Brighton later this year and I'm after a hair and make-up artist. I have looked for contact details but can't seem to find them.
Would you be interested?
Thanks
