    Default Crochet Club Leeds

Hi gals, I've started a crochet club at my studio

the first thursday every month, cost £6 which includes lots of tea and cake and gossip

    time 6.30-9.00pm address 11 Crown Court Leeds LS2 7DG.

Lmk if you are coming so we get enough supplies in

more details are on the website www.fabric-ation.co.uk

We also run a craft club the 3rd thursday and a costume clinic, where we can come and get help for any problems you may be having with fitting, ideas etc, the 2nd thursday

The Anna Fur Laxis Hair and makeup class this saturday has sold out, so we will be running again in Feb and April, there are also still a couple of places left on the accessories making ones the same weekend and the bath bomb and candle making, and winter flowers classes before christmas

about the same as knitting and other wool crafts really.

I prefer it to knitting and find it less fiddly and it grows quicker lol.

Just get a good basic book to take you through the basic stitches, but make sure it's a uk not a us one as they name the stitches differently so if you then try and follow a vintage pattern it won't come out the same

    OOhhh how lovely.

This sounds like a perfect few hours out....what a shame you are so far away.

You can make so many goregous things with crochet....you can put so much detail into the tiniest of little things.

Good luck with the club - and remember to eat lots of cake

Thanks, I'm sure I will that's why i run them lol

I've lots of 20's 30's and 40's patterns I've been supposedly making up for years so this is my incentive to get on with them.

I crocheted a set of 20's silk camiknickers a while ago and I started a 40's jacket about 4 years ago, and want to get it done so i can have a go at the fishnets
