Your last image uses an image of Morgana wearing a Miss Katie corset from Fairygothmother. Clearly not the same as the corset on the right.
I wouldn't think they'd be overly pleased at you using their images.

The others are also Trashy lingerie, who also wouldn't be pleased with you passing off their work as your own.

none of the lingerie is passed off as belonging to anyone at all.............they are as seen and if they replicate any lingerie belonging to anyone else then well...........black socks are black socks o.k!! all I do is sell nice lingerie and do not pass it off as belonging to anyone else. Nice lingerie for nice people that is all. I have no labels on my lingerie and they are all manufactured by the same people. It is lingerie and it is not 'TRASHY' but quality wear at good prices! All pictures, albeit some, are given to me by my suppliers. I would never pass my lingerie on as being a brand name at all. Simply what you see is what you get ' good quality at low prices' can't be fairer than that.
However, if the lingerie I supply is advertised under a brand name elsewhere then I guess I will just have to model everything myself
No harm intended

A designer corset from a small, independent corsetiere is hardly the same as black socks!
Ripping off a design is bad enough, but using their own copyrighted images to promote the far lower quality, ripped off item is just not on.

I will have a word with my suppliers about this as they gave me the photos and to be quite honest (without sounding ignorant here) I have never even heard of Miss Katie!!! ignorance on my part and I do apologise if anyone is offended. I am a new business selling lovely lingerie not a big business just one Lady that's all. I will try and change my photos o.k
All the best

By the way, Trashy is a brand.
If you are a corseteir, or at least serious about selling corsets then maybe you should do your research. Using other companies' copyrighted images not only damages their company, but the consumer AND serious corset makers. It perpetuates the myth that good, quality corsets are available for £40, and thus makes the consumer loath to buy from legitimate makers when their stock is upwards of £100.
If you are indeed just using the images that your suppliers gave you then your suppliers are clearly fraudsters. You're not a legitimate Trashy or Fairygothmother seller, thus the images you use are not yours to use, weather you were aware of the fact or not.
Edited to Add: I just took another look at your website, and you also have images of Vollers corsets.Last edited by Ally Katte; 11-24-2009 at 09:20 AM.

Hi all
I have ordered three corsets for my wife and have to say I am very pleased with the quality. They came with no labels and were not purporting to be any designer label. From the point of view that catwalk designs influence the high street, the same can be said for any clothing. I see these corsets as being influenced by others and not rip off copies.
Surely there is a market for handmade premium products alongside cheaper ones?

The images used are from another company. They are copyrighted images. The ones in this thread are images from FairyGothMother and Trashy. There are images of Vollers corsets on the website.
There is nothing to say she can't sell corsets. But she should not be selling with images of corsets which are NOT the ones in the pictures, and the pictures being copyrighted.
