Hi James
Very probably, we are separate companies sharing the same office space! Our internet connection is supplied for us (I am an IT company)
I HAVE three corsets from Lady K's and they are as I said. This is not a fake profile at all.

I don't get site's like this, how can you sell a proper corset for £25?
It costs me £35+ (& over 10 hours) to make one! The cheapest I can sell y corsets for is £70 & for that I'm paying myself slave labour
(I enjoy making them so It makes even a very low wage worthwhile)
it just seems like one of those "if it's too good to be true then it propbably isn't" scenarios.
Either that or I've missed some big secret in the corset making world...www.lillywiggler.com - The place to be for Delightfully Decadent Corsets, Lingerie & accessories!

Bullsh*t!
If you are an 'IT company' (who miraculously and coincidentally - very probably - just happen to be sharing the same building) you will also know all about browser cookies and MAC addresses. It seems that you are sharing the same computer too.
Steer clear folks!

Counterfeit corsets
A few Chinese companies have popped up that are not only copying designs, but using the designers' copyrighted image to promote them - which they then, in turn give to new British start ups!
It's happened to What Katie Did and Fairygothmother a lot recently but I don't know if we've managed to crack down on them as non of our designs are featured on the site above.
But (and this is a big BUT!) there are copyrighted images and designs on the site by (deep breath):
Vollers
Maya Hansen
Shirly of Hollywood
Axfords
Eternal Spirits
Snob
and Versatilier
these are in addition to the ones already listed.
Customers - if you see a £200 (or more) corset for sale for £30 it's too good to be true.
Website owner - I'm going to contact all the companies involved. As a British company you have to comply with British law. I'd take your site down immediately and find a good solicitor!
KatieFaux vintage lingerie, corsetry and hosiery since 1999.

Katie, I contacted Fairygothmother last night too, as that was the image I immediately recognised. Goodness knows it's been ripped off more than any other corset I think! I didn't look at much of the site, but I see there are others.
I'm a very small scale corsetmaker and so I haven't fallen foul of this yet. I have had emails from these wholesalers though, which I've promptly binned.
It makes me so angry to see images used to promote substandard goods.
And yes, I echo Katie's point. Bargains like that do NOT exist. There is no such thing as a cheap, quality corset. Compared to many I'm pretty cheap and I'm cutting costs to the bone (bad pun).

Glad to see the MoB team in action

Anyone knows that a good quality corset will cost a pretty penny. Cheap ones are exactly that, cheap and badly made.
I would rather spend $200 (AUS) on a quality corset that will last forever, then $30 on a cheapy that will fall apart after two shows.

Here! Here! I second these remarks too, there's knothing more annoying and it just leaves me exasperated quite frankly! I too have to cut my costs because of companies like this and it leaves me working for less than minimum wage...But like a previous member points out, we do it because we love and are passionate about what we create.

Ok, I am back online now and have noted all of your comments. Point taken and I have since deleted any pictures that I have found to belong to anyone else. Obviously, there may be a few more of which, no doubt, you will point out to me. I am currently in negotiation with many quality suppliers i.e fairygothmother etc to sell their goods.
I really did not have any idea that the products were duplicates of branded items and it would have been very decent if someone had just said 'did you realise that your products etc etc' instead it has turned into a mob war. I am quite happy for constructive criticism as this is what helps people grow and develop so if you have any further thoughts then please do let me know. I only want to provide nice lingerie and I certainly have no intention of pretending to provide the kind of corsets that are handmade and I am quite happy to provide links to your sites if anyone wishes for these handmade corsets.
Love to all

Both Crikey Aphrodite and I pointed out quite simply that the images are copyrighted.
You then started providing rather pathetic excuses as to why you were using these images.
If you come on to a forum full of people for which corsets are(some could argue)a key point of their art, with a website full of copyrighted images being used to sell items which are clearly not going to be as advertised, then you should expect a backlash.
Sorry, but that's the way it is. Whether you knew that the images were copyrighted or not, you still were at fault.
