my first post on this forum, hope it's of interest!

So...this coming Saturday 22 November 2008, "Stranger than paradise" will be taking over the Dex Club (Brixton, London) with a bang!

On the night, Amanda aka Ms Manray's will be getting hitched with David Goo from David Goo's variety band...expect total anarchy!!!!

We are extremely excited to have performing for us on the night, the glorious La Xula, Spanish sexy sultry gypsy tango flamenco, with a voice to make the seas part and villages stand on end! Plus the poetic whimsical mildy demented blues man Johnny Berliner, with the best beard in town as told by Beards Weekly. And Mean Poppa Lean gypsy funkster soul gangsters with a mean dress sense plus the glorious Melisa in the wedding sword dance, Matthew Robins Tim Spooner and Zoe Hunter in The Funeral March and John the Baptist (or the pope if we can get him) will be doing baptisms in the jacuzzi Mr Max Vanderwolf is the preacher man, special performances by Gabby Young, Paul Browse, Tallulah Jones, Jean Christie, Chancery Blame and the best man drum ensemble, plus cake will be served along with canapes!

Expect a fabulous array of wedding marches, religious propaganda, obsessive compulsive love songs and gypsy funk from the great Dj Sacha Dieu, Chancery Blame, Ms Manray and special guest Spike and Serge!

Doors from 9pm. WEDDING CEREMONY STARTS PROMPTLY AT MIDNIGHT!
