Following on from the 'performers I'd like to see' thread, I've decided that I'll perform my tooth fairy piece at this event... it'll be a bit cramped on our small stage, but I'm sure I can make it work.

Do you think it would be hideously evil if when my mum phones on sunday (which she will!  ) I tell her that we're in the pub? (ie dont mention Hot Muffins and/or burlesque)
Its the complete truth(ish)....God, lying sucks and Im rubbish at it! But shes really not well at the moment...

Nope, it will be the complete truth and not evil at all. You will be with friends at the pub...where there also "coincidentally" happens to be a burlesque show, which of course you don't have to mention to her.
I can always put on my "responsible grown up" voice (I do have one) and talk to her anyway, if needs be

In one of the threads which had posts about Hot Muffins (there are several...) mr. volatile mentioned a pub which had stupendous sunday lunches. I couldn't remember whether it was the same venue as the show or somewhere else nearby.
Now my question has been answered, I will see you in the pub on Sunday! |

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed last night's Hot Muffins.
I was blown away by how brilliant all of the acts were, especially loved Beatrix's scary Tooth Fairy, Vicky Butterfly's Swan Bride and Cherry deVille's bride of Frankenstein.
Mr Meredith and Mr B also fantastic. Abd lovely to meet Beatrix, Matt and the other MoBers, I'm sure you all enjoyed it as much as I did
If you can make it to Reading for the nex Hot Muffins go go go! |
