Hi kids,
So the big Halloween Palookaville! Palooza is happenin in Birmingham Fri Oct 31st and from what we gather is gonna be pretty well attended as people are coming from far and wide, I'f anyone wants to come to the Nov 1st gig in Sheffield ( also to be recorded ) then PM me and I'll put you in touch with the promoters - I'm telling you this because its an illegal Tiki Bar so tickets are not publicly available as such.
In true Palookaville! tradition we encourage a stage invasion for the last few numbers (only the Birmingham gig, as Sheffield stage is size of a postage stamp ) the best of which will be the Album cover as we will have Cherry Bomb Rock on hand to capture the madness on her photographic-image-preserving-apparatus.
I shall probably post more news as we get closer x

Forgive for being naive or undereducated in the ways of Tiki bars, but what makes the place illegal, exactly?...

I too am ignorant to the ways of Tiki bars - illegal or otherwise!!
But hmmm, Sheffield, you say? I might take a wee jaunt up while I'm at it. Never been to Sheffield...

This basement club was closed down in the late 60s, a few years ago someone bought it and rather than change anything they opened it up to friends just a couple of times a year - unlicenced. |
