The Skin Two Rubber Ball 6th Sept 2008 @ SeOne club. The Rubber Ball is now in its 17th year, and we very much want to get more of the Burlesque community involved. Over 2500 people attend the ball, and all of them having fun. Come along and join in.
IMHO the Rubber Ball is not only a great event, but also part of a lovely weekend. Two years ago you cosponsored the Flash Monkey which because of your sponsorship drew many many fetish people which made for a great mix.
Last year the Flash Monkey just happened to take place just before the RB weekend. Whilst still great fun, it hardly drew any fetish people because they just didn't know!
So what I'm trying to say is that a top of the line burlesque event with a strict dress code (perhaps drawing upon MOB's marvelous resources) as an official and publicized part of the Rubber Ball weekend would be very highly appreciated by all and would be a great pull for burlesque people to also attend the ball itself and vice-versa.
I always seem to manage to book an appointment at the London Tattoo Convention on the day of rubber ball, so I'm usually too wiped out to make the ball.
However, I'll try not to do that this year. ^_^
Any reason to get latex glad-rags on is fine by me!
