Hello folks!

'Teaze!' is an alternative burlesque event being held on Friday 23rd May at Studio 24, Edinburgh and is a fundraiser for FREAK 2008. We have some of our performers confirmed but we have some room for more - please do get in touch with me asap if you or anyone you know is interested. This is going to be a really unique and fun event and we would love to have some new faces on board (as well as welcoming back those who were involved in last year's FREAK extravaganza!)



A bit more about FREAK 2008....

The idea behind the event (and which we successfully achieved last year) is to bring a dis-used and derilict building to life with art. The event encourages artists of all kinds to share their work, experience, skills etc, whether it be showing a piece of art in the gallery area, running a workshop, performing on stage. This inter-active event is free to the public and encourages people of all ages and backgrounds to become involved in the arts.

Last year a burlesque show featured as part of the four day event and it went down a storm! Teaze! will be bringing back some of those performers for this fundraiser, and some new ones in an attempt to raise funds.

If you would like to be involved just holler! Confirming performers this week so please get in touch asap! There will also be opportunities later in the year to be involved in the FREAK event itself!

I had great fun performing at least year's festival, which also featured MoB folks the Vixens in Silk and Impressive Johnson. I'm really looking forward to this one, so if anyone is thinking about getting a little stage time, I'd definitely recommend getting in touch with Teniah.

Should have a professional photographer at the event on 23 May too so for anyone performing we should get some pics for you to use!

awww, that's a shame my lovely! Perhaps you should come up and visit him and come along to TEAZE!! LOL Also keep your eyes peeled for the actual FREAK event that we will be running later on in the year if you fancy a wee trip and would like to be involved!
