Sloans, Glasgow’s oldest bar, has teamed up with Glasgow’s newest theatre company, Rhymes with Purple Productions, in order to bring you a truly original and extremely special cabaret event.

On Sunday 4th November, situated in the opulent surroundings of The Grand Ballroom, Sloans and Rhymes with Purple are bringing you Tease & Cakes at Sloans – an afternoon cabaret revue with a serving of the most sumptuous high tea.

Inspired by the opulent tea-rooms of the 1900’s, Tease & Cakes at Sloans encourages you to climb the grand mahogany staircase and enjoy the sort of high-class entertainment and selection of cakes and fine teas that would make Victorian Aristocracy proud.

From 1pm-5pm Rhymes with Purple Productions – a company developing a reputation for delivering excellent and truly original entertainment – will dazzle you with an array of song, dance, comedy and cheeky burlesque while you enjoy delicate finger sandwiches, tasty savouries, exquisite cakes and a selection of fine teas & coffee from bottomless pots.
