I booked my ticket for this 2 days ago and sorted flights and accomodation today.
Wild kitties couldn't prevent me seeing Dirty Martini, Kitten DeVille AND Kitten on the Keys performing in the UK.
It's the day after the Vaudeville Festival finish night though so I've no idea what state I'll be in.....
Could be a dry evening or a keep drinking to stay sober situation!
I'm travelling down with Lady Lush though, so we can keep an eye on each other!

To anyone who's actually from Birmingham or who knows the area. What's the easiest way of getting to the venue and is there parking nearby? I'll be bringing a car full of people from Nottingham and I don't want to get lost and risk being hung, drawn and quartered if we're late!

Hi Scarlett, it's dead easy. Once get into the city centre follow the signs for China Town and there is a big centre called the Arcadian which is where the Glee club is. You can either park directly under the club in the Arcadian car park or park in the multi storey car park across the road.

I don't think there are any signs for China Town.

Best route, M42 from Nottingham, Junction 9 take the A4097 (4th exit).
Straight on A38 continue and join A38M (aka Aston Express way)
As you exit A38M you go over a bridge, Under the 1st Queensway tunnel.
Then exit but keep going straight (you'll know when you get there)
Follow road straight, under the library and past town hall.
Take left staying on A38, then 1st left. (before the red mesh car park)
Then at the end of the short road left and right at the lights.
Follow Road round past the market, straight past the ice rink.
At the island turn right then right at the lights.
Right at the next light and left in to the car park under the glee club

Susie, I'm sure you could just wear red, white and blue! In fact I've seen a few stars'n'stripes tops and dresses on eBay - all too small for me, unfortunately.

I have no clue what I'm wearing yet but it'll probably be less beach party, more Americana (beach party suggests showing some flesh to me - something I readily avoid)!

eBay is your friend and mine - I've been putting all sorts of American-related searches in, just to see what comes up!
