From the hallowed halls of Harrods to twisting Parisian streets (via a Dalston council flat), this one-girl show is not your average homage to the People's Princess. A darkly comic look at the life and times of Lady Diana Spencer, this whirlwind tour de force takes us from the little girl who dreamed of being a ballerina to the bulimic fashion icon of the power dressing 80s.

A surreal, farcical look at the passions and pressures of royalty told through a montage of film, dance, song and lip-synched performance, the show venerates our postmodern condition and its obsession with the media and the ephemeral trappings of celebrity.

Set against a backdrop that sees a motley crew of characters – Charles, Fergie, Camilla, the Queen herself – trussed up as farmyard creatures, the show draws heavily from fairytale imagery (think Brothers Grimm, not quite Snow White) with a strong element of the macabre thrown into the mix. Achingly funny, outrageous and at times even touching, Russella's first solo show (not to mention her uncanny resemblance to the Princess herself) is not to be missed, and definitely not for the faint hearted.
