Friday 1st June – A Night of Lamour

Call in the new month with an evening of glamour, cheekiness and fun at Chancery Lane’s refined Volupte Lounge, headlined by home-grown British burlesque darling, Gwendoline Lamour.
’A Night of Lamour’ offers high-end burlesque and song, hosted by compere Mr David Piper and featuring guest performances from the luscious Roxy Velvet with her Hey Big Spender-style routines; Tricity Vogue singing sassy jazz; and burlesque teaser Fifi La Forte, as well as the talented Ms Lamour.
’A Night of Lamour’ is held every other Friday, with two shows during the evening (6.30-8.30pm and 9.30-11.30pm) in the seductive setting of the downstairs restaurant of this intimate cabaret venue. Comedy genius David Piper will tease you into a delirium of delight as you sip cocktails, while the performers will weave in and out of tables getting up close and personal as you enjoy fine cuisine.
The irrepressible Ms Lamour will be performing two shows from her elegant repertoire, including ’A Walk in the Park’ which features her gorgeous flower-bedecked swing, and The Tzarina Snowstorm Show, which features an ethereal fan dance; a perfect fusion of her immaculate technique and poise.
