Shimmy 'N' Shake is a brand new dance class which involves a unique blend of burlesque, jazz and showgirl moves designed to keep you fit and work out the pin-up inside of you ! This is not a striptease class; we will be working on rhythm, poise and classic bump 'n' grind movement.
Each class consists of a short warm-up, followed by a sassy and sexy cabaret routine to both classic and contemporary songs. By the end of the class, you'll have a new routine under your belt to set pulses racing.

Classes are drop-in (no advance booking) and are to be held weekly for a 2 month run starting on wed 13 june '07.

What to wear - comfortable dance wear, for example : tracksuits, leggings and trainers. Also bring a comfy pair of heels for later on in the class as the routine progresses. On occasion we may use props such as tophats or feather fans; these will be provided.
