The Companions Club - Sheffield - Friday 22 June

A burlesque and rockabilly rock'n'roll extravaganza!

Featuring your glamorous and insane comperes Carrington! (one of the UK's leading male burlesque performers) and Eva Braun (the Queen of UK Gorelesque).

With the awesome rockabilly sounds of brilliant live band The Cathouse Creepers.

Added sultry and smouldering burlesque performances from Meg La Mania and Ruby Fortune, and in the light-hearted battle of burlesque "Tassle Off" we have newcomers Miss Candy Jayne and Lola Pops.

There will of course also be cool DJs spinning the music you want to hear - rock n roll, rockabilly, surf, trash, swing - you know the deal!

Dress code - just make an effort !!

On the door admission is £7.

Doors open 8pm, and close at midnight.

Venue : The Companions Club, 482 Barnsley Road, Sheffield S5 7AE.

Hi, I'm trying to find out if the Whiskey Jet Saloon is still happening on Friday night at the Companion's Club in Sheffield and can't seem to find out any info - can anyone help?

The event's promoters have informed me that this event has sadly been cancelled...

...but keep your eyes peeled for their Midsummer Balls.

Oh, that is sad. Sheffield has little enough burlesque as it is (although I've seen you here recently and you were fab!). Thanks for letting me know though.

Does anyone know of anything close or in Hull? I own a venue myself and I'm trying to find out whether there's anything going on in my town before I consider putting a show on myself.

If anyone actually wants to organise something here themself then contact me, I have an underused stage here!
