Slightly off topic... If anyone here dabbles in drag, and is in the Glasgow area, this may be of interest... My alter ego Miss Leggy Pee will be performing at this! >

Do you want to be the QUEEN of Glasgow? Well now is your chance to be a contestant in this pageant style event, which could crown you the DRAG QUEEN of Glasgow! We are looking for contestants to take part in this spectacular night being held in Arta, Merchant City on the 2nd of May 2007 with one of Glasgow’s finest comedians Scott Agnew compering.

Contestants will have the chance to strut their stuff in front of the distinguished judges, which will include Club Noir Organiser Tina Warren. The winner will not only receive this coveted title but also a fantastic prize!

This event will raise money and awareness for the Big Issue Foundation supporting homeless men and women all over Scotland. Just heard back from them - yes, you can get tickets on the door but on a first come basis, so they recommend booking to guarantee admission. Doors 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

ok Miss Leggy Pee will still be performing at the Pageant but she will now no longer be *competing* as the organisers now realise that she is a biological lady and not actually a drag queen, as they had originally ...assumed!

Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose....!
