...this morning!!!

I just saw it. She did a makeover on three viewers and they did a burlesque (ish) routine for their husbands.

Fern kept calling her 'geraldine' though... Why can't she ever remember people's names?!

Gwendoline looked fabulous though... and that's the main thing.

I always end up missing these things. We need a warning like a week in advance.

Sorry I couldn't forewarn re This Morning - it was on the cards for a couple of months and then finally went ahead at the last minute! The ladies we worked with were new mums and were all really lovely. They were feeling self conscious about their post-baby figures and none of them had performed or danced before and we didn't have very long to work on their piece: in addition to which there are very strict legal issues surrounding what can and cannot be done on live daytime TV! To this end I opted for something very simple and focused on making them feel confident and good about themselves and giving them a fun experience which was really the aim of the exercise.

The This Morning team are lovely to work with, and Fern is a real sweetheart as well as a genuine fan of burlesque. We first met at a party thrown by Charles Worthington 3 or 4 years ago where I was fan dancing.

There is some footage on the This Morning site and I will have the piece posted on my website and youtube soon.
