Hi guys

I'm hoping to get started as soon as possible, but unfortunately have to wait a few weeks until the first burlesque workshop!!!!

I was thinking about trying to get some photos done beforehand, to try and get into the spirit of things, but I don't want to spend a lot on them if they're not really necessary - any tips?

And also, how do I go about finding a reputable photographer?

I'm based in the South West - currently living in Bristol. I'm happy to travel, though!

What about you guys?

If you want cheap but still good quality images it's worth getting in touch with student photographers...I think uwe has a photography degree course so maybe worth trying to get in touch with people from there? I'm originally from the South West (Bath) and would help but unfortunately I'm studying in London now so a bit of a way away! xxxx

It's a pity you're not nearer, as I'd have been happy to do them for you for free! so far as finding a reputable photographer, once you've found someone who you think you might want to work with, get them to let you have a list of emails of models they've recently worked with so you can ask them for references. Good luck with the burlesque!
