Hot Thespians - The Showbiz Network: Beta Testers Needed

After a rather long time in development, we're almost ready to launch our new Facebook-style website for showbiz people.

There are still a few bugs in the system, but it's about 95% of the way there, however it's now at the stage where I need people to help me test it.

If you're interested, please PM me and I'll send you an invite.

EDIT: Thanks to the people who have PM'ed me. I'm just working on an update of the video system so I'll send the invites once I've got this working.

Okay, after a few more tweaks, I'm now throwing the new site open to everyone. The site is still in its beta stages and there are likely to be a few bugs still, but if you'd like to register, go to http://www.hotthespians.com

I've essentially rewritten Facebook - except this version won't ever be bastardised by those annoying applications like Vampire biting and all that gubbins.

I've also created a special group for beta testers which can be found at Hot Thespians - The Showbiz Network - Hot Thespians Beta Testing - please post any bugs there.

Also, if you register for an account, PLEASE REMEMBER TO CHECK YOUR JUNK MAIL FOLDER FOR THE VERIFICATION EMAIL!

P.S. There is an invite system which lets you invite anyone from your existing MySpace, Facebook, Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, Gmail etc... I have DELIBERATELY disabled this at the moment until the site is properly ready for launch.

Hoorah! We properly opened up Hot Thespians to the general public at about 7pm yesterday evening and at the time of writing, we had 128 members! That's about 110 signups in about 15 hours!

Thanks for the nice comments - actually, this isn't me as a child - I simply found the photo amusing! I was never a child. I hatched, fully formed, from an egg. Like Monkey from Monkey Magic!
