I had a fab time this weekend performing at Divine Burlesques Halloween Ball but it finally happened. I practised my 'gorlesque' routine to perfection, got changed, got the make up looking A1 then the announcer comes backstage and says 'we've got a problem darlin, your cd wont play at all'

PAAANNNIICCCC!!!

Typical, the one time I dont bring a spare with me it happens (sods law eh) and the Dj didnt have my song, Marylin Manson or any of the other suggestions so I had to adapt it to Michael Jacksons 'Thriller' - luckily it worked but talk about total cheese It wasnt overly brilliant as the dj said he'd fade the music when I did the finale but I went off stage with the music still playing - a little embarassing but c'est la vie and the audience still loved it anyway

Has anyone else experienced this and how did you cope??
