Mine are also in alpabetical order:

Kissing You- Des'ree
Your Song- Elton John
Tears in Heaven- Eric Clapton
What a Wonderful World- Louis Armstrong
Dedicated to the One I Love- The Mamas and the Papas
Dream a Little Dream of Me- Mama Cass
Demolition Lovers- My Chemical Romance

There are quite a few but those are my favouritest favourites. And they are all slow songs, I just realised.

I don't think I've got favourite songs really as my mood changes that much when it comes to music... but some I can't get enough of at the minute and some I'll never stop listening to are:

Silvery - Action Force/Nishikado (all their songs are great but these are the very best)
New Rhodes - I Wish I was You

Simon & Garfunkel - For Emily... (I got laughed at in college cos they're my favourite band/group/whatever... )
Blur - the Universal (but pretty much everything else too)
Steve Harley - Sebastian
The Incredible String Band - Swift as the Wind
Sparks - This Town Ain't big Enough... (yes...I know.)
Moondog - Birds Lament (the painting in my avatar is named after it)
Suede - Trash/New Generation/anything else you can sing loudly to
Roxy Music - Virginia Plain
the Everly Brothers - Claudette
Pulp - Do you Remember the First Time
The Zombies - She's not There
Rolling Stones - Ruby Tuesday

And to throw something a bit metal in, Primordial - the Coffin Ships

There you have it. The definitive list of what good taste really is.

I would probably agree that my favouritst songs change dependent on mood, however when there are certain songs that have made it into my 'happy', 'moody' and 'energy' playlists on my ipod:

Respect - Aretha Franklin
Town Called Malice - The Jam
Won't Get Fooled Again - The Who
Changes - David Bowie
I Am The Resurrection - Stone Roses
Love Is A Wonderful Colour - The Icicle Works
Step It Up - Stereo MCs
Light Up This Room - Mumm-Ra
We Still Need a Song - Hawksley Workman
Thinking of You - The Colour Field
Under Your Thumb - Godley and Creme
Kiteflyer's Hill - Eddi Reader
Summer Wine - Ville Valo and Natalia Avelon
The Prayer - Bloc Party
