you have to be sure that you keep good posture when you are standing still otherwise back trouble later in life !!!

the time for tease ladies have the gateaux vivant girls as a regular feature in their events where the girls pose with cakes covering thir bits and pieces !!

choose a work of art / character / or stroy image you would like to get across and give it a go - you could be tableaux ing whilst people are arriving to your burlesque night . its always worth trying something different as long as its interesting or entertaining , its a great start

best of luck
Aww thanks! I've seen the Gateaux Vivant photos from Golden and they look ace, just thought of it as a more gentle introduction to the stage.

However much confidence I have prancing about my own pub in knickers and corsets, I'm still wary of stages and mics

Wow, I'd love to have done that workshop

It would be great to see more tableaux vivant - I've seen some photos of Golden doing her's and she look brill, but you can't really get the full effect unless you're there.

I've seen something similar, but not quite following the 'rules' by various performers doing burlesque through the ages....but I can't rememeber where - damn my memory, or lack of it.

I think it's fascinating and a possible development of the storyboarding I've started doing on my photoshoots. Deffo something to research more....
