Ok, step one - stop with that negativity

we'll have no negativity in this place, this is a positive shop.
Everyone has some things they know a lot about and some things they don't and its only by taking the brave risk of looking potentially foolish that we grow and find out new things....oh my goodness, I've gone all life coachy...let me get a cup of tea and I'll get back on topic....
Right, that's better.
Facebook isn't an easy profile to link to as its more designed for social networking than Myspace which was designed more at the start to provide bands etc with a webspace when they couldn't have their own websites.
If you pop all those letters and numbers into your signature - which I imagine look like this:
http://www.new.facebook.com/home.php...30235&ref=name, when people click on it they'll get taken to the standard login page, and once they login they'll be taken to your profile, provided your privacy settings are set to your profile being visible to everyone.
But having your privacy set this low means that anyone who does visit your profile can write on your wall before you approve their comment - unlike Myspace where you can read comments before you allow them to be posted....and as beautiful burlesquer there are probably going to be some comments you probably will want to delete.
There are some things you can do with Facebook - like changing settings to have a public listing that people can find - which then gives you something like this:
www.facebook.com/people/Joe_Bloggs/61302712, but then you still have the danger of people posting things before you approve them (particularly bad when you're on hols).
So if you want people to find your burlesque self, I'd recommend doing it through myspace if I were you, where once you've created a page, you can create a more user friendly url, for instance
Invalid Friend ID
Myspace is much better for promoting yourself
If you want to know anything more or want help, just ask
(And sorry for the very dingbat thing I've just done on you facebook, if you're reading this before logging on, please read your inbox messages first before accepting any new friend requests - doh!
