My daughter is also under 18, but she has been lucky enough to do some burly modelling and been to a few shows..though most wont let you in just because of licencing laws, even though she doesnt drink! shes been to a few shows in London and locally, which she really enjoys and eeryone loves seeing her!

Also you could go to the Burlesque Teas..there are a few places in London that shes been to, which is also nice, cos she gets to wear her burly gear!!

The burly scene amongst teenagers is pretty big here ... she often wears a corsets and things out shopping and of course to college where she is doing fashion and design!

But yes its all very frustrating, as I tend not to go to any shows i cant take her to. Though there appears to be a back lash from under 18's where they are actually organising there own shows/gigs etc and its very popular!!!

I think Vicky has hit the nail on the head. Maybe work on a couple of none strip based acts and see if you can find a few bookings at all ages events like community shows, village fetes, fun days, charity events or talent shows. As the acts don't involve striptease you wouldn't be breaking the rules but you would be honing your craft so that when you turn 18 you will already have some experience under your belt.
Ooh, or maybe, if your local alternative nightclub has an under 18s night you could ask to showcase there... obviously you probably still wouldn't be able to strip but you would at least get seen, and most likely by others who might share your passion.
