Don't you know it! In the past few months we've been dealing with being integrated into a much larger company and moving offices, taking on new staff, creating the backend systems behind MoB TV (hopefully we will have a demo in about 10 days time), working on several new sites including developing the official website for Miss World, umpteen corporate events, the Bizarre Ball, the Edinburgh Festival, working on our second DVD, moving house and much more besides.

I'd actually managed to get the MoB Credits store pretty much working, but there was a bit of a showstopper bug in the system which meant that anyone could easily add or delete credits to and from other peoples accounts. Fixing this is EXCEEDINGLY complicated and something that I will need to devote a lot of time to - unfortunately time is something that has been at a premium recently.

Having said that, you can still spend your credits on advertising, dvds or workshops by mailing Dashy and he can sort things out. We're also in the process of creating lots of cool burlesque related merchandise too - so when the credit store does get sorted, there will be lots of stuff to buy!

Once again, I can only apologise, but rest assured, the store WILL become a reality!

Its used to be MOB cash as the conversion is simply into pounds and pence (or was, til James realises we'll shop him out of business!)

We're going to have to work this out on an item by item basis. For example, some items (eg advertising) will cost the same as their pound value, whereas items which cost us more to buy in will cost more credits than those which don't cost as much. Originally MoB Credits were called MoB Cash, but we renamed them to avoid misleading people.

Cool! I didn't realize that those credits meant anything, I didn't even realize we got credits until just now.

I've got a picture in my head of people siting posting for days to get extra credits for something sparkly!

Ah I've been wondering how much they would roughly be worth! I would hate to get 100 credits and find out it was worth 50p!

I'm excited now!! Bring on the MoB store! (when it's ready )

Look at it this way - MoB credits are somthing you get for free, you would probably use the MoB forum if you didn't get MoB credits. So, purely for example and not based on fact, if you could buy a Feather Fan for 2,000 MoB Credits it would take you a long time to purchase but you never actually spent anything on it.

If I see posts stating that the MoB are selling fans for 2,000 MoB credits becaue of my post above then I shall look down upon that posting with a withering look.
