That looks amazing! I live near the Watercress line. I'm very familiar with Santa Express and A Day Out With Thomas but hadn't heard of War on the Line.

Ooooh, I'm not sure about the 1950's look for inside a home - it's very kitsch, isn't it? My nana's house was very 1950's - she had lots of artifacts - think fake pineapple ice buckets and those big hood hairdryers - she even had a poodle dog!

Still, I remember it all very fondly...

No problem with how people choose to live their lives - as long as they choose it. It's the idea of being forced by society that would drive me nuts.

But that doesn't stop me appreciating the kitsch! Must find this on 4od to watch :-)

It looks awesome - wish I'd seen it!

I do believe in equality and women having equal rights, but I'm lucky enough to have a partner who completely believes in treating ladies like ladies, he always carries my bags for me and holds doors open for me and makes me cups of tea, and tells me a look beautiful even when I blatantly don't! lol. He talks to people on the bus as he thinks it's rude to sit next to someone and ignore them! lol (bit cringy too though!!) and he gives up his seat for old people - perfect gent , and he doesn't always expect me to be the 'little woman' either, although sometimes it's fun to pretend! heehee.

Is this program on again does anyone know??
