I have a customer like that - I would say she is mid 50's in age and both herself and her husband always dress in period clothing - when I dropped her first order round to her house I was gob smacked!!!! They'd ripped out the kitchen and had had a original 50's kitchen put in, they had an old 50's TV, cocktail cabinet, jukebox (lush), an original 3 piece suite, the curtains, the wallpaper - you name it, it was 50's!!! I didn't want to leave there was just so much to look at!!! But it's also a way of living for them, she's a proper good old fashioned 50's housewife - cooking, cleaning, mending, baking.....

I absolutely love the 40's & 50's but I couldn't do without my mod-cons - as for baking for the family, I'd probably give them all food poisoning - as it is I have difficulty cooking a pizza without burning it!!!
