Are there any plump 40+ ladies out there.

I'm hoping to try a workshop and falling into the above category feel a bit worried about making an idiot of myself.

Would love some words of encouragement from anyone who's been in the same boat!

I can't give you any personal experience help, I am not a performer, but I most certainly offer you much encouragement.

Argh trying to do this on my mobile so i hope this works. Hi yes i am (coughs to cover up real age) within that age bracket and a size 22 and recently went to a scarlet fever and bella besame workshop and due to go to a jo king one later this month. Really dont worry there were ladies of all ages and all sizes at ours and everyone is just there to have some fun. You will have a great time. Life is too short to worry what others think of you. I am not in the same boat as you myself, but I can assure you that you will not make an idiot of yourself. The fantastic thing about burlesque is that EVERYBODY is welcome- regardless of their body and age.

It is all about celebrating who you are the way you are, and how fantastic you are that way
