I've just got home from town, and got the bus as usual.

On my way back, I sat near the back (I was alone) and a few stops later, a teenage guy got on and sat behind me.

After 5 minutes or so, I felt this strange sensation from the gap between the seat and back rest. It felt like someone was stroking my bum. I put it down to the vibrations of the bus and ignored it.

It went on for a while, then started to feel more pronounced, almost like someone squeezing me gently. Thinking it was the guy behind me, I turned around but he didn't seem to be doing it, although he was sitting very forward in his seat.

This went on for the whole journey. Each time I looked around, or felt behind me, there didn't seem to be anything causing it. I started to think I was going mad, or had something in my pants like the bat in the bra.

That was until I got around the corner from my stop. I felt the definite grip of fingers, and as I began to turn my head around, felt the hand whip away from me.

I had to press the bell to get off anyway, so did so then but the guy got off behind me. He watched where I was going the whole time. My house is right next to the bus stop so I carried on walking straight past it, waited around the corner for a few minutes and then went back.

I'm really freaked out, and now I'm sitting in here with the doors all locked. This guy walked down a close next to my house- there is no through way, so he must live there or know someone who does. It's really creepy.

That's so horrid! Absolutley disgusting, how dare someone do that! Did you say anything to him?!

Well done for taking a detour past your house so the creep can't see where you live. Hope you're ok! Eat some choccy and watch a funny movie to take your mind off it.

I didn't say anything because by the time I had worked out it definitely was him I had to get off.

You should have done what the Japanese do - not looked round, but grabbed his hand, held it up in the air and shouted 'PERVERT!' at the top of your voice. He would have been mortified and serve him right too!

You should have not looked round but grabbed his hand, yanked it through the gap in the seat thus breaking his wrist, held it up in the air and shouted 'PERVERT!' at the top of your voice. He would have been in immense pain, mortified and serve him right too!

HAHA! You big meanie you ...

Actually I think the Japanese girls are taught to shout 'Chikan' which means 'Rapist', but I think that would have been a bit strong in this circumstance. But still, it's an example we can learn from!

A lot of young girls get groped on the subways because they're so crowded it's relatively easy to get away with it. Unfortunately once upon a time it was almost seen as healthy and normal behaviour for a young red-blooded man - so that way of dealing with it is being taught to young girls, along with the attitude that it's not right and that they don't have to keep quiet and put up with it.
