I've just joined up and this is my first ever posting on any kind of forum!

Im currently working on my burlesque name, as suggested in other threads Ive done a few searches, but just in case(!!!) if any one knows anyone called or performing under the name Amethyst please please let me know.I really dont want to tread on someones toes....

I really wanted to be called Amber (in fact when i was younger i tried to change my name by deed pole but my parents werent amused...) but theres already Amber Topaz (who incidentally is AMAZING i loved her sigh)

So, apologies in advance if anyone knows someone! I'm still deciding on my surname tho.....

A quick Google search shows no trace of a performer called Amethyst. So go for it.

I don't think you need anything else to your name. Amethyst seems to be quite enough.

She seems to be a model rather than a performer so It'd be your call if you felt OK about using the name - personally, I think the name is fair game as long as she's not a burlesque performer.

Hmm, after quite a thorough check there doesnt seem to be a burlesque performer of the same name so I think its ok to take Amethyst
