You're limiting yourself there December! How about a corset, a nice underbust one? Or a waspie or girdle? That gives you an extra item. Plus stockings as well, can't forget those. And unless you get a corset/waspie with attached suspenders, then you get a suspender belt too ... Plenty of garments there!

Just a thought on the rollerskates (cause I'm digging this idea bigtime) if the beginning of the skit is like you are finishing the end of the night, boss leaves so you finally get to sit down, take off the skates and rub your sore feet. Then you could go into taking the rest off without risking a broken ankle.

Though if anyone is able to strip while rollerskating, i would pay to see that! :P

I do a waitress act, my whole outfit is pink!!!! (not the greatest picture but it shows the dress!)

It was my first ever act and the dress got ripped but I have decided to have revamp and start doing it again but even better this time round!!!

I have been spending my evenings sewing even more pink ribbon onto my costume!!! I love waitress acts, there is so much you can do with the character :-D

I'd say avoid anything with buttons, especially if you're prone to nervousness - nothing makes you feel worse than fumbling with a button that was oh so easy to undo in rehearsal but onstage decided to get stuck ... Press studs are what you want, much easier. And you have the choice of undoing one at a time in a slow teasy way, or pretending that's what you're going to do and then suddenly pop them all open at once in a comedy 'RAWR'!

If you're worried about cash, get a cheapie waspie instead. I use a cheap black satin Ann Summers one in my dealer routine and it looks great. It's only plastic boned and has hooks and eyes down the front so it's really easy to take off (although I am thinking of leaving it on in future), and because it was cheap I blinged it up with rhinestones with no guilt that I was ruining something expensive! Buy cheap and customise, that's the way!
