That's ridiculous! Wow, Myspace has a vendetta and a half against burlesque!

Well, to be perfectly honest, I'd prefer it if burlesque people avoided using "tittie" photos on sites like Facebook and MySpace, simply because I visit those sites at work (on my lunch break, of course!).

We don't have any blocking software, but we do have an IT policy which I do my best to adhere to, but it's difficult if you go to read someone's bulletin and you get a nice avatar of a pair of pastied jubblies, just as your boss passes by your desk...

Plus, call me an old prude (or just a prude, less of the old) but I find there's just too much flesh on show in burlesque in general. I've always hated clubs where it's act after act of "here's my tits". I think also people in the burlesque world become inured to the semi-nudity, and forget the impact the imagery has on more mundane members of society!

Here, here! If that's prudish, let me join the club!

The terms and conditions for social networking sites do make me chuckle - does anyone else here remember the hoo-haa when Rupert Murdoch with the News Corp (aka The Sun, The Times, Sky etc) bought out Myspace and changed the terms and conditions/small print?

I seem to recall something along the lines of agreeing to their T&Cs granting them full copyright to use your pictures in all News Corp media. I did chuckle

Meaning all those photos of you as a drunk pirate are copyright of News Corp
