Not really looking to re hash the details brooms, But yes he was offering free rides for a "ride" shall we say. Thats probably what got to me the most as this area of lancashire is known for guys grooming very young teens.

And as you mentioned chopping off bollocks broomy there is an exellent book out called kung -fu for girls.
It teaches basic moves and shows you how to use whats in your handbag as a weapon.

Im not saying everyone should go out and buy it but at least google a few moves or tips to keep yourselves safe.

Good tips and wise words, honey. I worked with a women's safety organization at Uni in Alabama that tried to teach a lot of those techniques, as well as sourcing counselling for the women that had fallen victim to such attacks. As they say, it's less about sex than it is the need for power and it's really too easy for someone to cross the gap from suggestions into actual physical harm. I'm glad you were able to get his license suspended. xx

Unfortunately this has been a really big issue in Australia lately, and in Adelaide with many drivers from different cultures who have different perceptons of what is acceptable (not that this justifies it!). Good to know that people are out there talking about the issue and working to improve it

Thats horrible what a sick bastard. I'm glad you are o.k and moving on from the matter. He doesn;t deserve a taxi licence, you did the best thing in going to the police. I thought more was being done to stop incidents like this.

Aw sweetie that sucks I'm sorry you had to go through something like that. But Diva's right you could have stopped it from happening to someone who wouldn't be able to stick up for themselves, you did the right thing and I'm proud of you mwah!!!

Heather,darling, I didn't mean to over react. But we are all special, and we all belong.
It may be to siblings, to parents, to spouses, to partners, to each other. Your pain suddenly became my pain. We haven't met, but that's not the point, I care for you, and you probably reciprocate. as does everybody else.
What really pisses me off when I here of something like this is. The taxi driver would have been the first to 'sort it out' if it had been his sister/daughter/aunt/mother/or whoever, who had been propositioned. That's what I mean by belonging. Not a personal possession, like a chattel. But a member of an interwoven group.
If we, and, sorry fellas, men in particular, remember that, this sort of injustice would be history.
