I think option 2 also. To be honest with you I have never removed either my stockings or my corset in a routine.
I think it's makes things a bit different. That's not to say anything negititive about either removal. It can look very good but I'm conviced my corset would get stuck or that I'd fall over trying to get the stockings off!!
Looks like you've already decided, but I voted for number 2 as well. If you're gonna choose between taking off your corset or stockings, I'd go for the corset, I din;t know how much it matters but to me it would seem like a more 'balanced' costume to finish with, rather than keeping a lot on your top half and nothing on your legs
