need help!!! i've been trying to come up with a name for what feels like forever (in reality probably about 8 months!) am i over thinking this whole thing or did it take any of you lovely ladies an obscene amount of time to come up with your names? i'd like to incorporate the word "lock" or "lovelock" don't know if this is unsuitable as i can't seem to find anything to go with it. another suggestion made was "daisy swallows" on account of my talent to make daisy chains and swallow tattoos. am unsure tho as i don't know if this sounds too filthy!! any help would be greatly appreciated my lovelys! X

Took me ages to come up with a name which I barely even use now as most people know us as our troupe name! I much much much prefer names that are really original or different. There are too many people with similar names I think! Think about things you like, names of cocktails, names of paint! Even flowers you like or a character in a film/book you like xxxxxx

i totally agree thats why im finding it so difficult! i don't want to end up with something too similar to anyone else.. hmmm think its gonna take a bit of hard thinking! like the idea of looking at paint lol mite take a trip to b&q hee hee X

Maybe you should write a big list of things you like, names, colours, places. Things about yourself, things you like, all kind of favourite stuff. It's worth having a look at your heritage as well.

For example I have a german, east and north european heritage. So I chose Freya as she is the norse goddess of love and beauty. Fox goes well with it. I had it down as Freya von Fox at first but it was a bit of a tounge breaker and people keep pronouncing von wrong so it doesn't sound like it's supposed to (v = f in german). So I keep it Fräulein Freya Fox.

what about Lucy Lovelock? a bit simple i know but hey!

One suggestion that I spent a while amusing myself with was to look at the names of the 'my little ponys'.

I went to google and spent a while typing in various words and translating them to french, spanish and german. Gave me my 'Eris Eveiller'

Hope one of those ideas might help :-)
