Default More n00b questions! :D

Aaaand so I was in the car heading somewhere today (useless bit of info there ), and I was thinking...how long did it take you from when you started practising (so to say) until you first performed on stage? Weeks, months, years?

And how did you find a place to first perform?

And (last one, I promise), can anyone suggest me some good website with good tunes for routines? Though I was listening to this particular one today - well, ended up listening to it on repeat about 30 times - and I'm really getting this mental imagery of a routine going on in my head. I guess that's a good thing!

Thanks <33

Hey Delilah,

Personally, I was already performing before I began burlesque and ended up changing my aerial routine to a burlesque theme hence first performance. I know some people who made their first act on the night they performed too!!

As for music, here's a few previous threads about burlesque tunes but I also found this great website the other day that I'm a little reluctant to tell everyone about but hey

TITTYSHAKERS

http://www.ministryofburlesque.com/l...ing-music.html
http://www.ministryofburlesque.com/b...ic-dilema.html

Also if you are performing in a club, the permissions for you to use an artists music should be covered, in theatres you may need to talk to the promoter/ make a small donation to cover PPL fees

Welcome to PPL

xx
