This isn't about needing a name, I have one in mind which I particularly like and a few people who I have suggested it to like it aswell. My problem is I don't want to step on any other lovely lady's toes by using a name that is already used or commonly used.

for example, when I first signed up here I joined as Miss_Sugar_Blush and shortly after joining I noticed there was already a doll on here with that name and I would never want to steal anyone's name. Therefore, I rejoined under the name I have now.

I would love to get into performing as a hobby but I'd love to know whether I can make this name my own before I start using it or if there is already a burlesque beauty out there using it.

How do I go about finding out? :-?

Google it and google it some more!! .... also post it on this site and ask for anyone who knows if it is being used or anything similar!

It was one lovely lady on here who told me of a 'Diamond Blush' in Blackpool who was using the name! I would not have know about her otherwise!

Ok I did think about posting it on here, that's a good way of finding out I'm sure.

It wouldn't suprise me if it was in use considering the number of burlesque ladies there are, but I'd really love to use the name 'Honey Von Trapp'.

I don't like Freya Fabulosa as a name for performing, I kind of made it up on a whim so that I had a name to use on here! It's not a very 'me' name though. I get described as a feisty person, I'm quite flirty and I'd think of my self as more sexy than cute if you get what I mean, I'm sultry not 'pretty'.

I adore Chicago the Musical and Marilyn Monroe so I tried to come up with something from the character names of both Chicago and Marilyn but I had troubles! plus Roxie and Hart are probably used a lot, along with Sugar (from Sugar Kane in some like it hot) and Lorelei (from Gentlemen prefer blondes) so I'm thinking that way of finding a name is out for me.

I really like it too but I was thinking someone was bound to have thought of it.

I just came up with 'Heidi Von Seek' or 'Vixen Truelove' (but that's a bit too sweet for who I want to be!) Hmmmm decisions!

I think that 'Heidi Seek' and 'Honey Trapp' might both work well without the 'von' if you know what I mean. Plus I've never heard of anyone using the name Lorelei so you might be alright with that if you wanted it - anyone ever heard of a Lorelei?

There is already a Honey Von Trapp! Sorry sugar! I don't know her that well but I performed with her at the Whooppee Club a few months ago. She cracks walnuts with her thighs...

I thought there was already a Honey! Ah well, back to the drawing board! and she trumps me as far as the walnuts are concerned too! he he :-D

With regards to Fleur's comments, I agree about the Von, I wasn't too sure about it with the Heidi name but thought it worked well with Honey.
