Productive Day!

Don't you just love it when you have one of those fantastically productive days when you manage to get loads of irritating jobs crossed off your "to do" list.

Today I have:

1. Updated Shakeitdoll for the first time in ages (I've been busy, ill, busy, ill...)
2. Got permission to use a piece of music on my new web show reel
3. ...and edited said music to an appropriate length (censoring the swear words in it too! But no, it wasn't a track by 2 live Crew)
4. I've been on the MCPS-PRS website to make sure I can afford to use the music I want to use for my DVD show reel - and I can!
5. I've contacted some people about copyright clearance to use some photographs on the new Hot Muffins flyer... this is on-going, but at least the ball's rolling
6. Chased up a quote from a DJ for Hot Muffins
7. Been chatting to a wonderful guy from the States who's going to collaborate with me to make music for the introduction to my new tooth fairy act (due to be ready for performing in mid-May).

There are other jobs I still need to do, such as a couple of washloads... and there are some messages in my inbox(s) that require responses. I'd also planned on making myself a booklet of fan dance moves, as I often find I learn new moves only to forget them a week or two later...

Awesome!!! Well done girly, am really glad you sorted prs knew you were worried about time it was taking!

I too (although my msg to you before was v.stressed) have had a fantastically productive day...

1. Met with technicians for lighting & sound at Midnight Circus on Thursday
2. Arranged tech for Golden Lotus tomorrow evening
3. Finally caught up on all my freelance arts consultation work
4. Placed an application for a commission for more consultation work
5. Updated our finance records, implemented the new accounts tracker & chased up some £££
6. Also called PRS for authorization of several tracks for Midnight Circus
7. Had lunch (trust me this is an achievment)
8. Spoke to arts council about huge youth circus project i'm doing 2012
9. Finished my new aerial costume & fixed my trapeze
10. Started work on risk assessments for fire show

And thats what i'm doing now except writing this... i've been in four different places of work today, had only two coffees and am about to have a peanut butter & jelly sandwich...num!!

Hope everyone is having a great day, I'm sure tomorrow i'll be a small puddle on the floor!

I had one of those last week :s just gotta keep on plodding through!

Amelie - I gave up on PRS'ing online music and got in touch with some stateside musicians directly, gaining permission that way. That's how point 7 arose!

I'm envious of your peanut butter - I forgot to pick some up when I was in the supermarket yesterday

no nomming for me.

Non productive but not diasterous.

Woke up realising i could move my spine without being in immence pain.
so spent the morning waiting at the doctors in an underbust corset for support.

Got some pills that have smacked me up nicely and have to go for a blood test.

But then _

Angel phoned and we picked eachothers spirits up.
came home to find my favourite aunty had stopped by and dropped off some beautiful feather masks.

Im doing nothing tonight in a bid to pop as many pain killers as possible for a gig tomorrow night.

Been very productive!

Have two upcoming interviews for Tassel Time one with Red Sarah and the other with some very special guests

Plus working on my play...eeep!!!

All in all it never stops with Tassel Time!

I've unleashed a podcast Beast!

oh heather hunny... at least you will have glammed up the docs office!

after writing that post last night, i sadly thought i was the bees knees for doing all that so bought wine and got smashed...

and have woken up this morning to an email saying my job application has not been delivered and my printer has also just jammed...

oh and we have a show in 6 hours, i have no costume and no mother's day present...

i actually prefer the chaos i think... much more exciting!!

I spent the day shopping and realising that I miss my fella horribly. Goes to Iraq for 6 months, comes back for a month then sent to Germany for 3 months! BOOOO!

But he's home in 9 days!!! Let the fun begin!
