Hi James any news on next High Tease in Glasgow

Hi guys how are we all? Im getting serious withdrawal here. Havent seen any of you in such a long time and I was wondering when the next High Tease will be in Glasgow.

How are you?
I don't know abou the next High Tease event but if you are looking for a burlesque fix this might help...
Spangled Cabaret @ Rio Cafe, Partick started up a couple of weeks ago and will be running monthly. It's a very small-scale show, offering burlessque, cabaret and live music (this month featured Rhymes with Purple, Miss Leggy Pee, Little Red Fairy, Dusky Champage, Vendetta Vain, Scunner (band) , myself and more!) It was a good wee night with a nice atmosphere and was well-packed out for a first night.

Also, I am currently in talks with a venue in Glasgow about starting up a monthly night, hopefully in April or May (after all the uni work is done!) I can't say anymore just now, but again it will be a smaller scale than High Tease (venue capacity is 300-ish) but if it all goes well, then hopefully it will become a regular thing.

I miss High tease too!

I couldnt make Spangled Cabaret unfortunately but will be there with bells on next time. I haven't spoken to you in ages Trisha- how are you getting on?

If you need an extra pair of hands to muck in with event organisation etc you know where I am!

Hi Daiquiri,
Im good finally gettin over my illness before christmas. How are you ? Ill be there good I miss MOB do you know if its coming back ? To be honest I prefer smaller venues, more intimate and fun the atmosphere is better. I loved the classic grand, for the intimate 1930's feel. If there is anything I can do to help let me know. I am in serious Burly withdrawal was at last Club noir night. Wow what a line up. How is Red havent seen her since the Spitfire night. So count me in for the next night. Oh I have been spreadin the word to people used to look at me funny when I told them about Burly but now im noticing Im gettin more enquiries than dirty looks lol.

Glad Spangled Cabaret went well - I was hoping to go to support the legend that is Miss Pee but I've been really ill all well and I figured no one wanted to hear a hacking cough all night!

Spangled Cabaret is in a tiny but very cute little venue, and is on first Monday of every month! It's this coming Monday March 3 and I'll be there.

Also if you fancy a trip east, Wild Card Kitty has started doing Nemesis at Voodoo Rooms, it's on this Friday and looks like a cracking line-up!

And of course I'll be at anything the lovely Daiquiri is putting on!

So sorry I've been out of the loop recently; things are hotting up at uni and it's all chaos!
Taj - I shall definitely let you know when I get something definite sorted. It's on hold just now til exams are over but I want to have something up and running before the summer. Would love to have you on board! I've never organised an event before so it's all hands on deck!
Kate - hey love! I'm ok thanks, busy busy! It does seem like forever since I've seen you, you should come down to the next Spangled Cabaret. I'm not perfoming but looking forward to going to see a show for a change!
Red - I miss you hon! I'm so sorry we haven't had time to hook up. Easter hols start in about 3 weeks so I should have a bit more free time then if you want to get together. And, of course I had the vixens in mind; how could I do a show without you guys?!

Anyways, gotta crack on with the dissertation. Speak to you all soon!

Hi Taj, just noticed this thread - no immediate plans for a Glasgow High Tease as we're putting all our resources into getting the TV channel up and running. However I guarantee that there will be some seriously cool announcements once this is done!
