Hey all,

Known of Burlesque for quite a while know... you guys added me on MySpace which is pretty kool.

I'd like to find out what Burlesque is all about. Was lookin to post on MySpace or Facebook, somethin like, "so how does a skint web designer get involved in Burlesques?" haha.

Know someone who is involved with it here in Glasgow... sounds interesting... and I may surprise you all with my confidence haha.

I'm a web designer for a well known hotel company. In my spare time I do the bedroom DJ thing. I konw Scotland's Trevor Reilly quite well, and have recently made aquantencies with Radio 1's Dave Pearce.

Anyway, hope to get to know you all soon.

I seem to have been on here forever, but I've just got round to updating my forum and posting stuff.
I came here through my hobby of poledancing, but I'm getting interested more in the grotesque stuff.
I don't perform, but might one day when I've got an act together.

I've found doing classes has been an amazing experience and I've learnt so much from going to Burly nights all over!
The people here are really wonderful too and if you have any questions on how to take things further or any details of Burlesque, they're most helpful!

Good luck with getting in to it, I'm not a performer but I know when I want to take that step I'll be asking people here for advice!!
