I just recently been informed that I'm apparently a Steampunk artist!
I always used to think it was mainly to do with graphic novels like League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (my ex was a complete Steampunk and he used to design loads of those sorts of computer games), and I wasn't really into that sort of thing, but it's good to know that there is a place for us who make new things out of old with a bit of ourselves built into the mix!
I'd been thinking that it was about time to dig out that dress I made with the transparent spine attatched I made when I was 15... Or maybe I'm too old for that sort of thing!

PS. Did anyone read that series of books by Joan Aiken? I think they must have completely shaped my world view while growing up!
