Mine's a club story I'm afraid, but I still love it:

My best friend came up to visit me for a weekend, and we went to the Cathouse, which most of my uni friends wouldn't go to because they didn't 'do' rock. There was a really cute barman that served me, and I came back practically drooling. My mate was convinced he was gay, so to settle the argument she dragged me up to the bar to talk to him (at this point I was pulling away as hard as I could, had my back turned to him and was trying to cover my face), she did the typical 'my mate fancies you' routine, he asked who her mate was and when she pointed to me he replied 'aaah, the one with the legs!' It turned out he had actually been flirting when I talked to him before, and she ended up giving him my number. He sent me a text when he finished work (which was 4am) and we arranged to meet up.

That was about three years ago. Admittedly, we've had some bumps since then (he was just out of a serious relationship and didn't want to get too involved), and we were both seeing other people for a while (and didn't talk for about eight months), but we ran into eachother again at the Cathouse one night, only this time I was working there and he was a customer. I got his number from someone, we started talknig again and eventually after him asking me out three times (I wasn't convinced he was over his ex so I turned him down), I saw sense and asked him out, and we've been together for just over a year.

Problem with clubs is I can never hear what people are saying and if you can't even get a name right in the first intro you may aswel not bother trying !!

a girl I worked with lived in a shared house and set me up with one of her house mates because she thought we'd go well together (Hmm im 5 foot and a bit um well energentic shall we say and hes 6'6" and if he was any more layed back he'd be dead) so we all went for some dinner at a pub and I ordered steak and chips he ordered cheesecake...

i dipped my chip in his cheesecake and then sexually harrassed him over the poole table after the meal and it all went from there, that will be 6 years ago (to the day) on october 1st and we just got engaged in July after a great holiday in amsterdam.

the thing is hes nothing like my x bf's (In looks or temprement) so it really shows that you probably shouldnt have a "type" anyway i just wish everyone is so disgustingly happy as me.
