But I'm having a day of them. I can't sleep because of my dreaded insomnia (even though I've fallen asleep standing up at work the last two nights, I've been so tired), can't exercise because there is literally no food in the house, skipped a dentist appointment because I knew he'd try to get me to have my wisdom teeth taken out, and to top it all have had e-mails from a bitter ex who completely messed up my head a few months back by spreading his poison! Well I've told him where to go, but the stress and worry remains! Hmm ... think we've got some chocolate brownies in the fridge ...

When I'm like that, which I am quite often, I go for a long walk somewhere nice. Exercise releases endorphins which improves your mood and makes you feel good, as well as fighting pain, if you happen to have any of that too.
I have days when I'm scared of leaving the house, so that one wouldn't work for me! Doing something repetative that keeps my hands busy, like knitting or sewing, often helps me though.
